The populace was 24,154 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Naples Marco Island Metropolitan Statistical Area.

The Immokalee region is heavily agricultural.

Immokalee is positioned in northern Collier County along Florida State Road 29.

According to the United States Enumeration Bureau, the CDP has a total region of 23.3 square miles (60.3 km2), of which 22.7 square miles (58.8 km2) is territory and 0.58 square miles (1.5 km2), or 2.42%, is water. In the CDP, the populace was spread out with 34.9% under the age of 18, 15.7% from 18 to 24, 31.2% from 25 to 44, 14.1% from 45 to 64, and 4.1% who were 65 years of age or older.
