Clermont is home to the 1956 Florida Citrus Tower, one of Florida's first landmarks. According to the United States Enumeration Bureau, the town/city has a total region of 11.5 square miles (30 km2), of which 10.5 square miles (27 km2) is territory and 1.0 square mile (2.6 km2) (8.54%) is water. The Clermont region lies on the northern part of the Lake Wales Ridge.
